Coachella 2019: I’m an African Giant – Burna Boy

Burna Boy

Burna Boy
has slammed the organizers of US Music Festival, Coachella, for writing his name so small on their bill.

The Gbona crooner, disclosed this, via a story posted on his Instagram handle: @burnaboygram on Thursday.

According to Burna Boy he is an “AFRICAN GIANT and will not be reduced to whatever that tiny writing means,” and urged the organizers of the festival to fix the issue quickly.

@coachella I really appreciate you. But I don’t appreciate the way my name is written so small in your bill. I am an AFRICAN GIANT and will not be reduced to whatever that tiny writing means. Fix things quick please,” he wrote on his Instagram story.

Recall, NaijaVibes reported that, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi have been named among the artist selected to perform at this year’s edition of Coachella.

However, following mixed reactions from fans, some of who berated him for being ungrateful and full of himself, Burna Boy deleted the story.

Consequently, the singer came out to defend himself in another story. “I represent a whole generation of SOLID AFRICAN creatives going global. Not the soft low self esteem Africans with slave mentality,” he posted.

Burna Boy however stated he will soon grant an interview to make himself understood, stating that nothing he said came from any “place of pride or self-entitlement, it comes from my vision of the future of AFRICA not just AFRICAN music.”
