American hip hop artiste, Cardi B addresses news after a video of her past resurfaced on social media.

The outburst started as a result to Cardi B’s past video she did, where she made it known that she used sex to drug men and rob them for their money.

The award winning artiste took to her Instagram handle: @iamcardib to clarify the news trending on social media with a post.

The post read: “I’m a part of a hip-hop culture where you can talk about where you come from, talk about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are, There are rappers that glorify murder violence drugs an robbing.

“Crimes they feel they had to do to survive. I never glorified the things I brought up in that live I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it.”

She captioned the post with words that shows she is a different person from the person they are painting her to be.

Thus, she wrote ”All I can do now is be a better me for myself my family and my future.”

She is currently trending on all social media platforms with majority of her fan base against her action why some understands it was a phase of life.
