Nigerian female music stars, Tiwa Savage, Waje, and Omawumi have congratulated their colleague, Tems on her first Grammy award.
R & B superstar, Tems made history as the first female Nigerian singer to win a Grammy, winning the Best Melodic Rap Performance category for her role in ‘Wait for U,’ a hit song by Future featuring Drake.

Tems’ Grammy win is undoubtedly a huge deal for the Nigerian music industry, and top Nigerian female singers have taken to their social media pages to congratulate the music star.
Tiwa Savage shared Tems’ photo on her Instagram story with the caption,
“@temsbaby you already know (love emoji) 4 life.”
Meanwhile, Omawumi and Waje, for their part, also shared Tems’ photo on their Instagram stories and wrote, “Massive congratulations.”
