Yemi Alade becomes first female African singer to surpass 1m Youtube subscribers

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade has become the first female entertainer in Africa to have 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

The ‘Bounce crooner’ made this known to her fans via a post on her Instagram handle: @yemialade.

“1st female Entertainer in #Africa to have over #1MILLIONsubscribers on @YouTube . God is the GREATEST, started this journey six years ago.
