Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has taken to social media to shower praise on his legal team following his release from police custody.
Taking to his Instagram page, the singer, who was released from prison on Monday, April 4, 2023, after being remanded earlier pending the perfection of his bail conditions, emphasized the importance of having capable lawyers.

Recall that Portable, who was arraigned at the Ifo magistrate court on Monday, April 3, 2023, on a three-count charge, was granted bail in the sum of 300,000 naira, and to provide two sureties with landed properties within the court’s vicinity.
Following his release from prison, Portable, via his social media pages, expressed gratitude to his lawyers, who saw to his release.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner advised people who are in trouble to get themselves lawyers that actually know their job.
“Try to mingle with better lawyers that know Law”, he said in part.
